About Goddess Works

I believe there is a god/goddess inside each of us.  The very word Goddess is defined as:

god·dess (gŏd’ĭs) = A woman of great beauty or grace.

When we act with love, compassion, feeling, beauty or grace, we act from the heart.  The goddess in each of us resides there, in our heart.  She is the keeper of the volumes of stories, experiences, ideas we have.  She helps create them and we in turn accept or sadly sometimes, reject them.  She is a part of what we all are.  The inner Goddess in each of us is the part on a higher level that acts to help us remember who we are & what we can be.  She guides us if we listen & she holds us when we’re sad.

She is to us what we make her to be.  For some she is Mother Mary, Goddess Selene, or many others; for some, she is nameless.  She is internal to us, and is therefore unique just like we are.  She helps us daily and holds our hand always…and she asks nothing in return.

My inner goddess works very hard to get through the thick shell that I’ve built up my whole life.  I’ve listened to her at times and not listened to her for years.  And yet each time, she waits.  She tends to the books in my heart managing volumes of hurt, love, joy, experiences.  She sees when I check these books out and shakes her head when I check out sadness.  But she holds my hand as I read and re-read the stories, as I relive them.  She delights when I checkout stories of joy, and she celebrates with me when I am triumphant in something she told me to do years ago that I’m finally doing now.  She doesn’t judge that it took me this long.  She celebrates that I’ve finally arrived.  She is mischievous too and has a bright sense of humor.

She is part of me, and I am part of her.  I’m ready to listen.  I may forget again, but I’m ready to listen now.  Listen with me to the whispers of my goddess, maybe your goddess will respond too

Note: This blog will contain works that I do for myself, readings I do for myself and (with permission) readings I do for others as well as articles I find that I think are divinely found. Some may be private, most will be shared.  I welcome comments; for each comment is a celebration of my journey of discovery.  I also welcome helpful submissions.  Email me at celestial apprentice at gmail dot com to share privately or to add your own Goddess wisdom.

Celebrate your God/Goddess and bask in her love.
